Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning of Filters
Make sure to regularly check and clean the filters. Dirty or clogged filters can decrease washing results. Ensure they are correctly assembled and installed to prevent damage and to maintain optimal performance.
Check and Clean Spray Arms
Inspect the spray arms for any clogs. If holes in the spray arms are clogged, use a thin pointed object to remove any remaining soil. This helps maintain effective water spray and cleaning results.
Use Appropriate Detergents
Only use neutral detergents. Avoid using abrasive products, cleaning pads, or solvents as they can damage the appliance.
Adjust Detergent Quantity
Ensure you are using the correct quantity of detergent according to the instructions on the detergent packaging. Overuse can lead to residues on dishes, especially with short wash programs.
Check Water Supply
Ensure the water tap is open and the water pressure is adequate. Regularly clean the water tap to prevent limescale buildup, and check the water inlet hose for any kinks or bends.
